Arcing risk can be greatly reduced and installation safety can be appreciably enhanced if the right components are used and suitable measures are taken during the system planning and installation phases. The following are some tips in this regard.

4.5.3.4.1 Systems with a High Operating Voltage (more than (120 V)

Only protection class II modules and components should be used for such installations, i. e. components that integrate protection class II insulation and whose surge voltage resistance is in accordance with Table 4.3.
